Jaan Brunken
COO
Hanover/Remote
We are looking for a creative mind with a passion for good design to take the UI & UX of our digital products to the next level. As part of our product development, you will primarily be involved in optimising our app and the touch interface of our Wingfield Box (working student position for 20 hours per week).
What awaits you.
As a working student in UX/UI, you will...
be the interface between the sales, marketing, and development teams and thus responsible for product-related communication between these areas together with our Product Manager(s).
develop your own UI/UX designs for existing and new features (e.g. our app or the touch interface of the Wingfield Box) and accompany their implementation.
prepare interviews as part of user research and conduct and evaluate them independently.
analyze user feedback and derive your own ideas for UI/UX improvements from it.
have the opportunity to make your first steps in coding and support the development of individual software solutions (not a must! đ ).
That's you.
Of course, we donât expect you to have years of professional experience. It is important to us that you can identify with our products and working approaches. However, experience in the following areas can be an advantage:
Designing mobile apps.
Creating component-based design systems.
Experience with the intuitive visualization of data.
Affinity for digital products from the sports or health tech sector.
What we offer you.
Flexible working hours and a remote-friendly working environment.
Individual training and long-term support for your personal development.
Working in a young and ambitious team.
Regular team events and joint sports sessions - for example, on the tennis court next to our office.
Flat hierarchies with short decision-making processes and room for your own ideas.
Office poodle âWinnieâ is looking forward to meeting you, in case you have had a bad day.
About us.
Wingfield was founded in 2017 with the mission to unleash the power of tennis through innovative technology in all its facets. In doing so, we create outstanding user experiences that move tennis forward sustainably. Wingfield banishes frustration from training, automates official competition formats, and makes them available on-demand, making it easier for people to access our fantastic sport.
Greetings from Team Product Development.
Since weâre not a huge tech team, you can expect to significantly impact our product development from day 1. We are all curious and love solving challenging problems. We are always helping each other with our topics, but at the same time, there is no one who chews our work. This means that how we implement a particular feature is entirely up to our creativity.
What the application process looks like.
Do you want to actively shape the future of our sport? Then join us on our mission! This is how our journey together could continue:
Apply here on the website and write us a few sentences about yourself and the projects youâve already worked on
Weâll talk about technical aspects in a Zoom Call and get to know each other better
Congratulations, we chose you! Welcome to the team! đ
