Tracking optimization for all Wingfield Boxes

A few adjustments under the bonnet will boost your Wingfield boxes' performance at the end of the year. You can look forward to these updates in Box version 2.8.0...

• Box Settings: Customers can now easily set up a baseline cam, switch the language, or connect to the WIFI at the Wingfield Box!

• Calibration Check: Users can now view a live stream from the box cameras within settings and setup mode. This stream displays calibration points, providing a handy tool for verifying the current calibration and checking if the camera lenses are dirty.

• Improved Player Detection: Introducing our groundbreaking AI model. Now, with faster batch processing and exceptional performance in sunny conditions. Get ready for a smarter, quicker experience.

• Better Ball Detection: Enhanced for extreme lighting, our improved ball detection model ensures no moment is missed, regardless of the light conditions.

• Highlight Video Magic: We’ve infused some extra pizzazz into our highlight reel magic by tracking whether a winner or an error concluded a rally. Expect more jaw-dropping highlights showcasing those killer shots that turn players into legends.

Changes for LK-Matches with Wingfield

The German Tennis Federation has adapted the rules for LK matches with Wingfield. The following changes will come into force from August 2023. This is new:

• Within 12 month a maximum of 15 LK matches may be played with Wingfield (previously 10 LK matches).

• Within twelve month, only 3 LK matches with Wingfield may be played against the same person.

• A maximum of two matches per day are allowed

• A maximum of one match per day may be played against the same person.

• The maximum age difference of both players must not exceed 20 years.

Check out the online status of your court at any time.

With the app update 1.21.0, you can now see if your Wingfield boxes are online and connected to the Baseline Cameras. Thanks to the new feature, you can also report any problems with the system directly to our support team.

Multi User Login now allows up to four players to log in

It's time again for a Wingfield Box update. Version 1.8.0 comes with a lot of small UI adjustments as well as a huge optimisation of the user flow. You can also look forward to these features...

• Multi User Login: Up to four players can now log in for a workout at the same time.

• More intuitive playing mode setup: Choose which two (of the maximum four) players should play on which side before a session and adjust your selection again before each following session.

• Team Scores: In addition to the individual scores of the players, a combined score for both playing partners is now also displayed on the box after a drill.

• Quick Drills: After a drill you can repeat the same exercise with only two clicks.

• Missing Avatars: If no profile picture has been uploaded to your profile, your initials will now be displayed on the box.

• Bug Fix: Problem with incorrectly displayed match tiebreaks is now fixed.

Time is money. With update 1.16.0 you can now play your videos at double speed. But that's not all. Here's what to expect from the new update.

Faster verification for LK matches with mybigpoint

Starting with this update you can unlock your competition profile with mybigpoint. Just click on "mybigpoint" within the connection step. You will then be redirected to a mybigpoint website where you can log in with your mybigpoint credentials in order to connect both accounts even faster. But that's not all..

• We cleaned up the app menu up a little bit.

• Report problems or share feedback more easily via the Help & Support area of the menu.

• In-App Browser opens up external links without leaving the app now.

With the app update 1.11.0 you can finally connect with other users. This is the first step towards creating even more interaction potential between all players on the platform in the future. But that's not all. This is also new:

Box Release 1.5.0 coming in big

One of the biggest updates we have ever released on the Wingfield Box so far has just been shipped.

• From now on, video highlights will have sound if you download them from the app

• Bug Fix: Match Tiebreak sometimes had false winner and inverted score on the box screen

• The net attacks stats are now aligned with the smart video filter

Our A.I. now detects offensive and defensive game play in your video

App Update 1.5.0 comes along with new video filters. You now have the option to filter your video according to offensive or defensive rallies. Our A.I. selects game sequences where you have either played more aggressively or defensively.

Attention: These filters are in a testing phase and are therefore beta-tagged. So bear with us if the sequences are not always accurately selected yet. The algorithms are constantly improving.

• Download highlight videos to the device directly

• Coaches can now see every session of a connected player

Introducing world and club rankings

With the new App Update 1.4.0, the long-awaited drill rankings are finally coming to the Wingfield app. You can now compare your drill scores with other players from the community. Besides that, we also added the following improvements:

Feature release: Match validation for national ratings

Box Release 1.3.0 brings the LK-Mode to the Wingfield Box! With the associated match validation, you can now play official LK matches whenever you want. Matches will automatically be reviewed by the system and forwarded to the corresponding federation.

The validation process is based on two-factors: During the match our A.I. analyses various criteria, such as individual playing behaviour or possible rule violations. If inconsistencies occur during the match, critical sequences are automatically marked in the match data and will later be reviewed by independent referees via video evidence.

Smart video filters extending Wingfield Pro features

App Update 1.2.0 puts the video player in the spotlight. A modern user interface and intuitive navigation take the player to a new level. Decide what you want to see in the video with the new intelligent filters. For example, watch only your serves, net attacks, the serve+1 and return+1 patterns or highlights of a session.
